Service Projects

Hands on Work

(choose from opportunities described below)

Provide your talents such as giving a puppet show, or singing for residents (anytime).

Assist residents with arts and crafts (opportunities available year round)

Be a Volunteer Buddy:  Youth ages 11-13 are matched with a resident to provide friendly visiting. Volunteer must be supervised by a responsible adult.

Be a Volunteer Friend: Volunteers ages 14 and older are matched with a resident to provide friendly visiting. Available to high school students for community service.

Who can help: Anyone!  (except specific ages mentioned for friendly visits).

Run a Collection Drive

Coordinate a drive among friends, family, or classmates to collect and donate items needed for holiday gifts for residents (annually in December).

Who can help: Anyone!

Organize a Fundraiser

Organize a fundraiser (host a wine tasting, bake sales or car washes) to raise money to purchase toys for our young residents.

Who can help: Anyone!

Support an Event

Assist with setting up and/or providing holiday parties for residents (monthly).

Who can help: Anyone!
