Service-Learning: 3-5
The driving principle of See Kids Dream’s service-learning programs is that students are empowered to decide how to help. Student leaders collect input on where the community can use the most help, uncover community needs through research, and then take action to meet those needs. Here you can see the See Kids Dream Service-Learning: 3-5 students in action through the school year!

GATHER INPUT
Students identify community issues they think are impacting their community, then collect input from other students, teachers, family, and friends to see what they think are the most important issues to address in their community.
RESEARCH
Students conduct research on community issues and interview non-profit organizations addressing those issues so they can learn the best way to help address the issues in their community.
TAKE ACTION
Students choose non-profits to donate or do service projects for, then they implement plans for their service projects and get ready for the Leaders of Tomorrow Showcase where they share with Community Leaders the impact they made in the community.
