We hear from parents all the time who are seeking ways to include empathy, leadership skills and confidence as the life lessons their children learn. Since 2008, See Kids Dream has been providing service learning for youth that focuses on these same lessons.

Why get involved with see kids dream?
Getting kids to get “out of the bubble” is how we often hear parents describe this. 100% of parents and teachers surveyed said that they see a change in their child’s ability to think about the needs of others after participating in a See Kids Dream program.
“After leaving the family service project, my daughter continued to talk about the needs of people who are struggling with homelessness, and remind our family that we have everything we need.”
See Kids Dream believes that children have a natural capacity for both compassion and leadership. Each of our programs follows best practices for service learning and includes 5 factors that are critical to generating long-term civic engagement:
- Awareness of community issues
- Leadership skills
- Knowledge of community resources
- Real-world service experience.
Through our programs, youth develop the skills that are critical for their success in school, in the workplace and in our community
