Shared Power Network
Service Projects
Awareness Campaign
Students could help drive community-based interest and education around the potential for solar energy in central Ohio. For example, if the students could hand out fliers or help run a booth dedicated to solar education, as well as create a video raising awareness.
Host A Fundraiser
Shared Power Network is always looking for two things: additional project funding and partner schools to house our one-kilowatt solar installations. We never want to put the burden of financing a solar project on the partner school. It would be great to work with a partner school to help run a student-run fundraising drive to limit the costs associated with installation. Additionally, students could lead fundraising events after their school’s installation has been completed to help other schools support solar installations, thereby expanding our Shared Power Network. Whether supporting schools in urban centers, Appalachian Ohio or elsewhere, it would be an impactful added benefit to the fundraising drive.
Install Solar Panels
Shared Power Network is looking for partner schools and nonprofits to install their educational solar Installations. If your school or nonprofit is interested in this project, contact Shared Power Network.
