How and when did the organization get started? 

In 2008, the need for a Worthington Food Pantry was identified and became a part of our community’s Food for Families program. By the following year, volunteers were handing out food boxes to 25 families a month from the basement of a building on the Methodist Children’s Home campus. Today we serve more than 1,000 families per year at our current location on the former Harding Hospital campus.
