  • The Zoo offers volunteer programs for adults, and to teens through their ZooAide program.  All volunteers are asked to apply and go through a selection process.

Who can help: Teens and Adults

Organize a Fundraiser

  • Group “friendraisers” can include any type of activity the group chooses to help raise money to donate to the Columbus Zoo.  Examples are organize a run or walk, a bake sale, a car wash, a pet fashion show, etc.
  • Adopt an Animal Program: With a donation, you can adopt an animal at the zoo.  With your adoption you receive a photo of the animal you’ve adopted, as well as a personalized certificate and a fact sheet.

Conduct a Social Media Advocacy/ Awareness Campaign

Use Twitter, Instagram and Facebook to get the word out about the latest news or upcoming events going on at the Columbus Zoo.
