How and when did the organization get started?

In 1982, Susan G Komen’s sister, Nancy G. Brinker, kept her promise to do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever. Today, more than $2.5 billion and a network of more than 120 Affiliate offices are upholding that promise.

The Columbus Affiliate has 22 staff and board members that work towards saving lives and ending breast cancer.
