What region or area do you provide services in?

Ohio Nature Education is a private non-profit volunteer organization which provides a home for over sixty wild animals that can no longer live in the wild. Ohio Nature Education focuses its efforts in the state of Ohio.

How and when did the organization get started? 

Ohio Nature Education began in 1997 as an organization dedicated to providing a home for permanently injured wild animals. Since then we have been dedicated to creating an awareness and appreciation for Ohio’s natural habitat and wildlife.

How many employees do you have? 

We have a very small group of employees.

How many volunteers does your organization have?

We have many volunteers each year to help us with animal care and our educational programs.

How do your programs or services help the 

community?

Our programs include live education animals and collections of study skins, nests, and other natural materials useful as aids in learning about nature. One Nature Education’s programs cater to children, family and adults.
