Colony Cats and Dogs

About

About

What is your organization’s mission statement?

At the heart of our mission is the commitment to reduce cat overpopulation through public awareness and spay/neuter efforts, and to improve the quality of life for stray and feral cats.

What population do you serve?

We serve the Central Ohio (Franklin County) Community.

How many do you serve in a year?

This is difficult to quantify. We are an animal welfare organization, however, we help people who need assistance with stray/feral cats (and dogs) in their neighborhoods as well as their personal pets. We rescue and find permanent homes for approximately 1,000 cats and dogs per year. Some are owned by individuals and some are not, however, the communities do benefit from our services as well as the people who adopt our pets into their homes.
