What region or area do you provide services in?

We serve kids from 40 different neighborhoods throughout Columbus and we continue to grow each year!

How and when did the organization get started? 

In 1948, some leaders from Columbus noticed that too many young boys were getting into trouble when they were out of school. They reached out to Boy’s Clubs of America (this was before they let the girls in) and asked them to help establish a Boys Club in the Franklinton neighborhood of Columbus where there was a lot of need.

Today we have grown to 6 club locations that serve 4,000 youth a year and we are also now the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus.

How many employees do you have? 

We have 7 full-time staff and 30 part-time staff.
