What region or area do you provide services in?

Adaptive Sports Connection provides services in Central Ohio and the surrounding communities. 

How and when did the organization get started?

Adaptive Sports Connection is a chapter of Disabled Sports USA, which has been nationally connecting those with disabilities to sports and therapeutic outdoor recreation since 1967. Though the adaptive sports movement began to rehabilitate veterans, the program has since expanded to include those with a wide variety of physical and cognitive disabilities. Adaptive Sports Connection was founded in 1992. 

How many employees do you have?

We have three full-time employees. We rely heavily on volunteers to run our programs!

450 volunteers help us run our programs each year. We rely on volunteers to do everything from running our sports programs to organizing our calendar.
