Mostly in Ohio, but we do have a chapter in Illinois

How and when did the organization get started?

ASW originated in 1982, and was founded by Ramona Fickle (92 and lives in Canal Winchester), because there was no wish-granting organization in the state of Ohio.

How many employees does your organization have?

In Cental Ohio, there are two employees, but each chapter has two or three employees.

How many volunteers does your organization use?

In Central Ohio, we probably use 100-150 volunteers, but our chapters also use many volunteers as well.
