Nonprofits
We have partnered with over 250 nonprofit organizations in Central Ohio. Visit our Research Hub to see the different community issues that our student leaders care about. If you would like to partner with us, click this link to fill out a form. For questions, please email Vada Kennedy at vkennedy@dfyf.org
These are events non-profits can participate in with us each year:
Non-Profit Interviews: Each year the students we work with choose a community issue they would like to address. Once they have chosen their issue, they will start to conduct interviews with non-profits to find out ways and solutions to help the issue they chose.
Leaders of Tomorrow Showcase: At the end of the school year, we bring a representative portion of students together to celebrate and share what they and their peers learned about community issues and how they helped. During the event, students meet with community members and are involved in several different group activities. Student leaders will be in attendance to share their service-learning projects and explain how and why they addressed the community issue they chose to help. We do a service project at the event to benefit local non-profit organizations.
