Neighborhood Scavenger Hunt

Even though we are social distancing, you can still get outside and explore your neighborhood with these fun neighborhood scavenger hunts.

Why is it important?

Getting to know you neighborhood is always a good idea, so you can find your way around if you ever need to. It’s also a great way to get some sunshine, which is good for the soul, especially when you’re cooped up inside for most of the day. Going on one of these scavenger hunts is a great way to get outside, be active, and learn more about where you live.

What supplies do you need?

What steps do you need to take?

  1. Print out a scavenger hunt. The print-outs are linked above. You can choose from three different scavenger hunts: nature or people!
  2. Go out in your neighborhood and explore. As you find things or complete tasks, cross them off with a marker or pencil.
  3. Remember social distancing. Be careful to maintain 6 feet of distance from people you don’t live with. Make sure to greet your neighbors from afar!

How did it go?

  • Did you have fun going on a scavenger hunt?
  • What was the easiest part of the scavenger hunt?
  • What was the hardest part?
