What region or area do you provide services in? 

Jessie’s World serves women, and their children, who are struggling with addiction or who have been convicted of a crime in the state of Ohio.

How and when did the organization get started? 

Jessie’s World was founded in 2009 by Renee Johnson who was inspired by her mother, Jessie, who relentlessly struggled with drug addiction. Jessie lost her battle, but through it all, she considered her daughter to be the bright spot in her life.

In 2013, Jessie’s World joined forces with Nothing Into Something Real Estate (NISRE) and was able to expand its services.

How many employees do you have? 

We have a small staff and Board of Directors to help administer our programs and services.

How many volunteers does your organization have?  

We have many volunteers who help us raise funds for our organization or provide direct services and support to the women and children we serve.
