Community Lab – After School
After School is a service learning program that is implemented in after school programs and is flexible enough to serve students in grades 3 – 12. The program curriculum is uniquely written to meet the needs of after-school audiences by delivering service learning in an easy-to-follow, engaging and fast-paced format. Leadership and team-building skills are developed as students explore and discuss local community problems and create a plan to help. At the conclusion of the program, students have the opportunity to demonstrate their learning by showcasing their work at a community event and sharing their story with other students and adult community leaders. Thanks to our generous donors, See Kids Dream provides all professional development, curriculum, program materials, online resources, community events and fundraising processing and logistics at no cost. Additionally, See Kids Dream staff provides ongoing direct support to staff.
